To make music fun and accessible to anyone.

My teaching career started by giving private lessons at student's homes.  Eventually I moved to the Twin Cites and gained a position at A Music Academy in Golden Valley. There, I gave Private lessons, Group Ensemble lessons and prepared students for recitals, auditions and performances. I've also taught private lessons at "The Paul Green School of Rock" and given drum clinics at McNally-Smith College of Music.

In 2010 I married Jenn Goff, owner of Whoop Dee Doo Hair Studio, in  Hastings MN.  I then moved to Hastings, where I began teaching locally and  in various neighboring cities.

In 2011 I had an idea for a class that brought all of the instruments together to form groups of students who were learning, playing, and eventually  performing songs on a stage at a venue.

In 2012 this idea evolved into my "Garage Band" Classes.

I Got my First drum set at age 11 on Christmas Morning. My mother got me a couple lessons at the local music shop (Bradenton, FL) and for the next 4 years I played my drums almost everyday.

At age 15, I joined my first professional band, KB Country! This was a group of 40 somthings, and I was their drummer every weekend. We played mostly country music, but we also infused 50s and 60s and classic rock. I did this all through high school, as well as play with my own band made up of my high school friends.

In 1996 I attend McNally-Smith College of Music. I completed a Percussion Program. After that  I played with many different bands using many different musical styles including, rock, funk, jazz, latin, afro-cuban, country, and a number of musical hybred's that I don't quite have a name for.

In 2007 I joined the Tim Sigler Band. Tim Sigler is a local Country Artist that has a loyal following and plays over 120 shows a year. I am still currently with Tim Sigler playing all over the mid-west and then some.

In 2009 we did a commercial for the Minnesota Wild

This is a compilation of clips from a varity of  songs we play

Here we are at WE Fest 2012 opening up for the great Willie Nelson
